Akihito is an accomplished Special Effects Make-up Artist in his native Japan. He has won Tokyo TV's Special Effects Make-up Artist Championship three times and was the monster designer for Ultraman Cosmos TV series.

Akihito moved to L.A. two years ago. Since then he has won the first prize in the Avant-Garde category in the International Make-up Competition at the International Make-up Artist Trade show and has worked at KNB FX group as designer, sculptor and painter. His credits include Alien vs. Predator and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (not yet released).

This is the first time he is displaying his aluminum nettings and wires work at the Infusion Gallery.
