Alxandre

Spending summers with his uncle, a well-known sculptor in Europe, Alxandre recognized the promise and potential of conveying emotion in art, and began developing an eye toward the abstract.

At age six, he created his first bronze sculpture. After being awarded a U.S. government grant for furthering his studies in the arts, a business savvy acumen developed, which proved financially lucrative, and Alxandre began traveling the planet, as he sought out experiences that would enhance his knowledge of the world.

The choice of colors that still dominate his work -- black, red and white -- speak boldly to his interpretation of the world. Under the surface of his aesthetically pleasing artworks, is a tension that emanates from the thoughtful, and profound subjects he takes on.

His large-scale projects range from "extreme homes" he is designing, to a 45-foot tall sculpture intended to raise awareness of alternative solutions to the world's energy problems.
