Ben Rittenhouse was born and raised in rural Indiana and was encouraged by his uncle to cultivate his artistic creativity. Ben studied two years at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh before moving to Los Angles, where he currently resides to work in special effects in film and television.

Ben is employed at KNB FX Group where he is the foam department supervisor. His resume credits include such films as, Men in Black II, Austin Powers III, The lion, the witch and the wardrobe (not yet released); and Kill Bill volumes I and II. Ben has also worked as a puppeteer on the television series, Tremors

Ben has participated in several Cannibal Flower art shows as well as at the Lankershim Art Gallery where he sold his first sculpture. Although metal sculpture are Ben's focus, he also works with pastels in two-dimensional form.
