Tomas Patrick Quigley, an English-born fine artist currently based in Boston, has spent 16 years honing his unique perspective as a master of color and line. An Irish citizen, Tomas' extensive travels, in later as well as earlier years, along with his interest in mathematics, science, philosophy and history, have combined to create an artistic perspective based upon atypical, albeit extraordinary influences. The jeweled colors of his paintings reflect these elements and result in a vibrant expressionism that becomes emblematic of his art.

In concert with color, Tom's singular use of line exhibits not only carefully developed skill, but a rare axiomatic paradigm of vision. Synthesis of color and line in nearly symphonic arrangements creates universal images that transcend mere chronological delineation. Tomas literally paints with his hands, and the vast body of work has the color applied and blended directly from his mind through to his hand to the canvas in vigorous uninterrupted flows – creating a world where line and color meet and wax larger than their separate selves.
